Surviving Medicine

Hosted ByFrank Cusimano, PhD (MD candidate)

WHO ARE WE:

We are the Medical Profession. Founded by a group of medical students, residents, and physicians; we strive to be not only a voice, but a resource for everyone in the medical profession.

WHAT WE DO:

Working as a medical professional isn’t easy. With little support and very few outlets we can connect on, we are building a community focused on improving the well-being of our community. We strive to connect, serve others, voice our opinions (anonymously or not), and share the tried and true tools that professionals use to get through medical school, residency and hard shifts at the hospital.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:

Together we can forge a new narrative around what it means to be a healthcare professional. We can support our friends, our colleagues, and our fellow premeds, medical students, residents, and attendings. We can improve the communities’ well-being and we can give those a voice to share their opinions while lifting up those up who need it.

OUR RESOURCES:

We provide a mix of written, audio, and video messages across all platforms. Our largest following is currently through our Apple Podcast and on our Instagram Page. Make sure to follow us to join in the conversation.
